Silver Sands Resort is internationally famous as a center for advanced windsurfing (skill rating required 5-6).

The Club Mistral windsurfing station is open between November and June and brand new rigs and boards are brought in each year.

Lockers are provided for windsurfers coming to Barbados with their own equipment.
